After we presented them with a design we thought would work they came up with ideas that we had never even considered. With the first draft of the design we knew they had nailed it! The house turned out great and we get lots of compliments. Planning to use them again for our next project.+2Posted on Google
Howard Dierking207 days agoWe worked with Brickmoon to design a Texas-modern cabin on our ranch in central Texas. The team handled site planning, architecture, and interior design and was on top of every detail through every phase of the project. They were incredibly communicative with everyone participating and took all the time needed to explain the details to us. After working with the Brickmoon team, not only do I absolutely love the result, but I feel like a better informed homeowner and steward of the house, and I look forward to working with the team again on future projects.Posted on Google

Will1952 days agoWe used Brickmoon Design (and specifically Justin and Alex) for the design of our new home, which was recently completed. The design process was new to us. Brickmoon did a great job walking us through the process, answering questions with thoughtful input and patience, and encouraging us to design the home to fit how we ultimately wanted to live in it. The process was truly collaborative. And the product was spot on. Both were wonderful experiences. We got great input in designing our dream home. Linhda was so great to work with for interior design and helped me to pick all my favorite finishes while staying in budget.Posted on HouzzGina Greenslate3001 days agoTen years ago, we purchased our forever home -- built in 1939 in Garden Oaks -- and knew we would eventually need an architect to turn it into our dream home. We wanted to rework the hobbled-together floor plan and build a 700 sq. ft. addition (man cave, laundry room, bedroom, outdoor kitchen). We found Jeremy and Brickmoon after seeing some of their projects in the area. We were somewhat hesitant after a less-than-pleasant experience with another design/build firm on an earlier remodeling project. He immediately made us feel at ease -- he listened us and what we wanted. He's an all-around good guy, Professional, helpful and a pure delight to work with. He established good rapport with us, responded promptly to our emails and offered creative solutions to resolve our design dilemmas. Having never worked with a licensed architect before, he walked us through every step of the process and suggested a few builders we could interview to get preliminary pricing before finalizing the plans. It's a good thing he made that call as we found out the construction project exceeded our budget. He reworked our plans and managed to squeeze in everything we wanted. We are currently midway through the construction phase. It's one thing to see it on paper, it's another thing to see it brought to life. We love what he designed and can't wait to fully enjoy the much-improved space. Ironically, we've since met three others who also worked with Jeremy on their house and all have raved about their experience with Brickmoon. I've been in all three house and he does beautiful work. Bottom-line, Jeremy was the best architect we could have hired for our project. We're thrilled with our experience and the soon-to-be final product. One area in particular that Brickmoon excels is the design of new homes and whole-home renovations in Houston's historic districts. Most recently we completed a project on Heights Boulevard. Their expertise and experience navigating this very intricate plan approval process is an invaluable asset to our team and the client. And of course the effortless way they blend old, new, and the client's vision is outstanding as well. We look forward to many more years of home collaborations!Posted on HouzzGreg Schneider3095 days agoWe hired Jeremy to design some significant remodeling and additions to our 1967 era house. This included bumping out an outside wall and adding 1100 sq ft for a new master suite as well as adding offices, fireplaces and opening up the living areas. We also had Jeremy design some additional phases - new garage/den and a complete remodel of the upstairs that will be completed sometime in the next five or so years. All plans are ready to go. Jeremy and his team did a great job and were fantastic to work with. The most impressive part is how the additions look like they were always part of the original house. I have recommended him to several neighbors and would certainly use him for any additional architecture work.Posted on Houzz
John French3119 days agoWhen Hurricane Harvey flooded our house with two feet of water, my wife and I looked about for someone to help us bring the home back to life with improvements based on forty years of living there. It was our extremely good fortune to be put in touch with Brickmoon Design, where Jeremy McFarland and his fine staff have been a wealth of ideas and support. They have provided many innovative suggestions and creative advice, well beyond what we would have considered on our own. They have been responsive to our unending questions; and on the several occasions when we have offered design considerations, they have been quick to support and incorporate those with merit and have been appropriately assertive when one of our harebrained ideas needed to be squelched because it was impractical, unwise, or excessively costly. If you are in Brickmoon's service area and in need of a talented design team, we can highly recommend them.Load more
