Job Title:          ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Position Summary:
Brickmoon Design is seeking to hire a talented and dedicated Architectural Designer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in all phases of the architectural design process and must be passionate about contributing to our vision of “great houses and happy homeowners”.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with drafting, detailing, production and coordination.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and support their vision, preferences, and project goals.
  • Complete architectural documents through all phases of the process – SD, DD, and CD using Revit.
  • Work with the Design Director to manage project flow to ensure all commitments are met.
  • Perform field measurements of existing homes and accurately input the information for “as builts”.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and communicate updates to the team and clients.
  • Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and team members.
  • Other general office support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor of Architecture or similar degree
  • Licensure is not required.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in all phases of residential design with an emphasis on production and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office Suites are required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • A positive attitude and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

    Job Title:          INTERIOR DESIGNER

    Employment:    Full-Time (40 hours per week)

    Position Summary:
    We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer with a minimum of 2–3 years of residential interior design experience to join our growing team in Houston. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative design environment. This role will support all phases of residential projects, from concept development and drafting to sourcing, procurement, and installation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the design and execution of residential interior design projects from concept through installation.
    • Produce and revise construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and detailing using Auto CAD.
    • Source furnishings, lighting, materials, fixtures, fabrics, and accessories.
    • Prepare and maintain project timelines, specifications, schedules, and procurement documentation.
    • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, architects, and consultants.
    • Conduct site visits, take field measurements, and assist with project installations as needed.
    • Support senior designers in client meetings, communication, and project management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design required.
    • Licensure is not required.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in residential interior design
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites, and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Preferred experience in Studio Designer, Revit, and SketchUp
    • Strong understanding of residential design principles, materials, furnishings, and construction documentation.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivate, proactive, and collaborative team player.
