Position Summary:
Brickmoon Design is seeking to hire a talented and dedicated Architectural Designer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in all phases of the architectural design process and must be passionate about contributing to our vision of “great houses and happy homeowners”.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and project goals.
- Work directly with clients to develop designs that are responsive to their needs and vision.
- Complete architectural documents through all phases of the process – SD, DD, and CD.
- Work with the Design Director to manage project flow to ensure all commitments are met.
- Perform field measurements of existing homes and accurately input the information for “as builts”.
- Maintain organized project documentation and communicate updates to the team and clients.
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, or a Masters of Architecture degree from an accredited university and should have experience in all phases of project delivery.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in residential design with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office Suites are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- A positive attitude and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
- License is not required.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in new construction and full-scale renovations and be highly organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative work environment. This individual will play a vital role in all phases of the interior design process and must be passionate about contributing to our vision of “great houses and happy homeowners”.

- Collaborate with lead designers and clients to develop design concepts, including interior architectural details, finishes, and furnishings
- Assist in leading client meetings and managing ongoing communication
- Create detailed interior millwork drawings and furniture layouts
- Source furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories
- Coordinate with builders and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Detail and managed documentation for all selections
- Create design proposals, request custom furnishings pricing, and detail purchase orders
- Maintain project timelines, budgets, and updates
- Manage installation preparation and execution
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in residential interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred experience in Studio Designer, Revit, and SketchUp
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- A positive attitude and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces
- License is not required
